The Department of Environment held a workshop entitled ‘Reducing your Agency's Footprint’ on 4th April 2006. The workshop looked at embracing sustainability in government operations, with a focus on waste management.
The National Packaging Covenant
The Government of Western Australia is a signatory to the National Packaging Covenant, and committed to a partnership approach between industry, local and state governments and consumers to ensure optimal resource conservation and recovery of consumer packaging and paper.
